Literature in Context: Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe remains one of the nation’s most seminal writers, spearheading the development of American letters and inspiring writers and artists for more than 200 years. Join living historian Charles Wissinger as he performs several of Edgar Allan Poe’s best-known works. The performance will be followed by a Q&A with Poe and a curriculum development workshop. Breakfast will be provided. Teachers will receive a certificate for three hours of professional development. The workshop will be held at The Hermitage’s Cabin-by-the Spring from 8 a.m. to noon. Attendance is limited to 50 participants.
